GROOM: All This Happened, More Or Less 1651 2
Started by snakybus
'All This Happened, More Or Less', is the new album by Dublin band GROOM, and is out now on Fairview House Records.
Recorded by Nicky Coghlan and GROOM in Dhulaigh studios, it is packed full of indie keyboard/guitar rock gems. All songs were written by singer/guitarist Michael Stevens (previously of SETTLER), and feature his own particular brand of nerdy observational sci-fi country songs, spanning a variety of themes, such as time travel, technology, religion, polar bears, death, sadness, e...

Folk Singer Needed 1401 0
Started by Tommyboy2
Hi All,
I have just written a song called Rathkeale, about the traveller's from that area of Ireland. There is a very rough version on my soundclick page
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfmbandID=580809
As you can tell from the recording I do not sing or play guitar very well, which is why I was wondering if anyone knows of a good UK based Irish folk singer and/or ceili band who could add a bit of life to the song. Your views on the song would also be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone!
First off, these look like great forums, and I'm looking forward to spending some time listening to some other new Indie Bands!
Anyway, I've been playing my Songs for a while now, and I'd love some feedback on them! I recently got a new Guitar, so three of them are recorded on my old Guitar, where as 'Waiting For The Rain' is recorded on my new Guitar, so sorry for any quality issues! (Though they are all good quality really! :) )
Hope you enjoy them, and please leave s...

THE DRAFT 1497 1
Started by ls_landy@yahoo.ie
Hi everyone.
I am currently helping out the Dublin based alternative rock band called THE DRAFT. I would be really really grateful if you could have a listen to thier tunes on www.myspace.com or on www.thedraftmusic.com and let me know what you think of thier sound.Pretty funky in my opinion but your opinion is what counts!
The lads are going to be recording their next EP in the coming weeks so watch out for them in the next months, they'll be around Dublin and the country plugging it.
Thanks...
