22 Replies and 3067 Views Oxegen highlights  3067  22 Started by  MACgirl Well what a day on Satuday, we didn't get the sunshine but at least it didn't rain. Nightmare traffic getting out there, took way longer than last year but made it in time for Kaiser Chiefs who played a brilliant set, really got the crowd going reckon they should have been higher up the bill, next up were Razorlight with Johnny Borrell really playing to the crowd, they were great and he's very sexy which always helps. Bit of Snoop Dogg (not great) before Hal in the Green Room, disappointing. Bac...

I actually remember buying a copy of Simple Man like 5 years ago on vinyl solely based on his odd appearance. Plus, he performed with Bowie...by the way, the film was excellent and it has the Bowie SNL performance (no dates however, which is a bit confusing). Anyone see it through Universal or...

8 Replies and 1888 Views Hot Press and Whelans row  1888  8 Started by  nerraw No idea if you have heard about it but just goes to show how small the music scene is in ireland. Whelans have pulled all their ads from Hot Press due because of the row over phantom FM. Stokes and Co are appealing the decision to award the radio license to Phantom FM so Whelans and places related to them have pulled their ads. Could be an estimated 40 drop in cash
