Would greatly appreciate any good tips about bands playing or other stuff happening that's worth checking out (aspecially anything that's off the radars of the likes of Ticketmaster). I'm in Ireland for a week from Thursday the 4th of August, and, so far, seeing Presidents of the USA on Saturday is candidate 1. Alternatives t...

22 Replies and 2975 Views Ultimate list of Irish bands  2975  22 Started by  aidanc Hi all, I have just launched a new website - http://www.irishrockers.com The site has a database of well over 100 of the biggest Irish rock artists. The reader can enter comments on the page for each band, so feel free to get it started and add your comments about your favorite Irish musicians. It's likely I've missed a few important ones so let me know if you notice any major ones that I've missed. thanks, Aidan

1 Replies and 1125 Views Anyone know where I can find this tune?  1125  1 Started by  stroller The Flaming Lips have recorded a new tune Mr. Ambulance Driver for the soundtrack to the film Wedding Crashers. Rarther than fork out €15 for a CD with only one tune I want on it, I tried to download the Flaming Lips track off itunes. The site would allow me to download several indivdual tunes off the album but not that one. I could only get Mr. Ambulance Driver if I downloadd the entire album for a tenner. Naturally enough I think this is a bit of a rip off. There doesn't seem to be any plans t...
