Hi all,
I have become frustrated at the lack of new recordings available on the I-Tunes Ireland site - country section, presuming it has to do with wrangles between i Tunes Inc and record companies but recently I clicked onto the US store to find a treasure trove of stuff, so why cant we buy it here. Please don't tell me it has to do with licenses because I can buy anything I want from Amazon US.

- Anybody check out the trailer for the movie 'Last Days' It's basically a rundown of what Kurt Cobain's final days were like, how people treated him, how he acted etc. I think it looks really good (most of Gus Van Sant's films intrigue me anyway) and Michael Pitt is very like Kurt from first look.
- And also what are people's opinion(s) on the new Johnny Cash biopic with Joqauin Phoneix playing the lead role

Ive had my iRiver mp3 player for over a year now at this stage. Very happy with it. Havent quite got the entire collection on it yet, but bit by bit ill get it done.
However, one of the thoughts I had at the time of purchase was that would happen to my cd's now that all my music was on my player. One year on and they are stacked in the bedroom gathering dust.
Seems like such a waste really. The only time they get dusted off is to give them a loan to a mate or for a party. It has me ponder...

OK, so this is pretty cool.
The buzz goes like this...
..Pet Sounds is currently running a competition to give an unsigned Irish band the chance to play support to Sonic Youth/Chemical Brothers in Marlay Park on August 19th.
If ye could vote Delorentos whichever night he plays them (possibly tonight, possibly Wednesday), it'd be rather great... The track in question is called Leave it On.
I wish the audio clips on the Pet Sounds voting page yoke were working but they ain't so...

Remember IRMA wrote to 17 music uploaders a few weeks ago Well eight of them chose coughed up between 2k and 6k to prevent legal action. Will be interesting to see what happens with the other 9. More on it here:
