hey i posted here ages ago(i'm talking months) about transferring songs from ipod to itunes, i had just bought a laptop and i remember someone told me u download some program and that does it. .. well i did it and yeah it all went grand but my laptop died a month ago and i gotta new one so i gotta do it all again, only i can't remember the program i used, can anyone help me out. cheers Lx

Is it just me or have other users of I-tunes Ireland noticed that when you click on albums no tracks appear This has been going on for a week and I have checked it on a couple of PCs, if there is a problem i-tunes aren't in any hurry to solve it.

I know a few posters on this board prefer the iriver and other mp3 players but the new ipod seems to have it all. The new 60GB one is thinner, in colour, stores photos/music/videos/podcasts/audiobooks, has more options, can play music videos/movie trailers/TV shows and at a reasonable price. The questions that arise with this new model are:
- Does this make people more prone to download, in turn halting the cd/dvd purchasing
- Will bus journeys soon turn into a loud haven for girls gasping ...

Maybe this is old news but according to the 2FM website Jenny Houston has lost her old slot. Her show the Waiting Room used to go out four nights a week. I think her old time slot was 10.00-12.00. Now she's been pushed back to three nights a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and her show has been re-schedualed to the 12.00-2.00 slot. As a result Dan Hegarty has lost a couple of gigs and his show will now be broadcast at 12.00-2.00 on Sundays, Fridays and Mondays. Also it looks like his hope...

MP3 blogs have become a great way of finding new music in recent times, more legitimate than filesharing and a great way of finding good stuff amidst a sea of mediocrity.
Probably old news, but after ever less frequent posts, the original MP3 blog Boomselection is officially dead, well as an MP3 blog anyway, the site itself will carry on. It was also a conerstone of Mashup/bootleg craze. All hail boom, the original and best.

With the proliferation of mp3 downloads it seems that the humble CD could be facing a bleak future.
