The Darkness Drop The ball 1506 6
Started by Rev Jules
When I read that The Darkness were about to go into studio with Mutt Lange two things occured to me.
A) They aren't up to it, working with the man who produced 'Back In Black' the greatest rock record ever made, in my humble opinion
B) What if they pull it off
Well, they didn't, lange departed muttering about the quality of the songs and Rob Thomas Baker entered, along with bagpipes.
I guess you can take the man out of the spandex jumpsuit but you can't take the spandex jumpsuit ou...

Anyone else besides Gar catch it
Have to say I was pretty impressed, the frantic choas that was somewhat missing from the album was there in abundance but all in all it falls into the good but not great category.

Rockstars and Food 1087 1
Started by Rev Jules
What is it about popstars and food
First it was Robbie Williams and pies.
A while ago, Bono was photographed on the cover of Observer magazine enjoying oysters and champagne.
Then, last Friday, Alex Kapranos was waxing lyrical in the Guardian about curry.
Now, today in the Sunday Times, its Justin Hawkins and his obsession with risotto. Risotto !

Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey revealed today, through their publicist Meredith O'Sullivan, that the breakup of their marriage was over Simpson's obsession with former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. Apparently, Simpson had become fixated on Saddam Hussein as she put it 'ever since he crawled out of that spider hole and into my heart.'
