I thought they were amazing, a few technical probs towards the end that slowed things down , but all in all, it was a great performance, they sounded amazing, great vibes. More than just a band, a phenomenon.

Not since Joe Dolan has there been a better revival.
Saw the video last night. Made me feel uncomfortable in the way that watching the Office did. I wasn't sure whether I was laughing at him or with him.

As usual, drop back here to this thread to then discuss it.

The Forgotten Irish Musicians 6942 44
Started by Gar
There have been quite a few Irish musicians (bands or solo artists) who have simply disappeared over the last number of years. Some have moved away to pursue their career elsewhere, others have packed it all in, while some have just vanished from our radars. Who are the one's that are missed and should return

Songs Consist Of Three Sections:
1. The Verse contains the main story line of the song. It is usually four or eight lines in length. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOUR SONG HAS THE ...

Possibly the coolest thing a band has ever done 1564 6

The Wrens posted massive update on their site yesterday, tons of stuff but one item in particular caught my attention ...
- 5th wren. There are a bunch of songs we either don’t do or don’t do all that well only ‘cause there are simply too many parts on the record and we can’t figure a way around not playing the parts live and can’t cover it with the four of us. The solution The 5th wren.
Essentially, we’re gonna write out the TAB/standard notation for the extra parts for a handful of song...

Michael Dwyer penned a great review of it in The Ticket last week, and it's being played in the Screen......so very tempting. Although not sure if old Neil can still pull it off live.
