dSIDE Magazine & Samantha Mumba 1662 2
Started by tobble
Have you seen the cover of the latest dSIDE magazine Glory be to jaysus but this (cough, cough) 'catalogue of cool' has put Samantha Mumba on the cover! So it would appear dSIDE has resigned itself to go the compromised editorial route of Hot Press. Not that dSIDE was necesarily a vital publication but, despite its flaws, its presence on the rack of Irish newsagents was welcome. But now another potential champion of the healthy Irish music scenes has bitten the airbrushed Louis Walsh bullet. A...

Ciaran Wrenn is a complete muppet 2940 8
Started by babayaka
Ciaran Wrenn is a complete muppet, never have I seen someone reviewing music who hasn't a clue all he does is slate the stuff thats considered not cool (by MTV2 or something sad like that) and guess the rest, idiot doesn't have a clue about anything that he obviously hasn't heard about from his friends.
So do the world a favour and get rid of him!!
Because I'm sick of reading his crap, if I want to listen to someone complain and moan I'll take up watching east-enders.
MUPPET!!

I’m new here and just wanted to see what’s up. Anybody bought any other good CDs recently I just got the new Dishwalla CD “Opaline” last week and it’s excellent. A friend of mine showed me I could listen to the whole album (for free) at http://www.dishwalla.com/vlp/ and I’ve been hooked ever since.

Stereophonics for Slane!?! What's going on? 4647 22
Started by tobble
So the Stereophonics are going to be headlining Slane 2002 on Saturday 24 August (Nickelback, Doves, Counting Crows and The Revs are in support). And the tickets cost €49.50 (and that's before those lovely 'booking charges' they latch on to it). Come on. A joke of a line-up and a profoundly outraguous ticket price. I bet MCD will end up their pockets burnt on this one. The Stereo-fecking-phonics I call that scraping the pub rock barrel. I'm out of tune on this or, really, are the Stereophonics ...

Hey...just read the Fred review on this site and i must say i was disappointed when i read it. First off C Wrenn your fully entitled to your opinion and i'm not here to say i'm right and your wrong i just think your missing the whole point as to what Fred are about. Fred are a band who yes write silly/quirky/pop songs but only because their mission in the music business is to have a laugh!! If you've ever seen the band live, and it sounds like you haven't, you will see that Fred just like to pla...
