Gig Prices (Olympia in particular) 4447 9
Started by Vent My Spleen
I should preceed this rant by saying that the Olympia is probably my favourite Dublin venue (so many great memories).....
They are seriously taking the mickey with their prices. It is just disgusting what they are charging since the euro change over. Ryan Adams is playing an acoustic gig there in November, seated tickets are 38 euro, for cristsakes! A quick check against the same gig in the Manchester Apollo comes to 28 euro. How the hell is this justified Equally, A quick scan through some...

Mystery Song... Help 1678 3
Started by scorp1on
When my wife and I why were travelling around Ireland in 2000 we heard a silly little tune we had never heard in America and wherein the artist repeated the lyrics 'I need love... Real Bad' (or something very similar) many times. These lyrics subsequently spawned a few light-hearted naughty moments in Dublin hotels before we flew back home.
I'd love to surprise her at an upcoming event by playing this song but haven't a clue as to who did it.
Can anyone help me out with an artist/album/songt...

dont drown your sorrows
