5 Replies and 1635 Views Hi, I'm New. Care To Make Music Some Suggestions?  1635  5 Started by  knockitdown hi. i'm from the US and the state of popular music is not good. the only people that make money in the music business here are the beautiful ones that look great in tight jeans. i don't think it's fair that the music media decides who we should lay down our hard earned dollas for. when did everyone stop deciding that for themselves i'm not against loving music that everyone else loves too, if it's good. but for the most part it just isn't. i think talented musicians deserve to make piles...

Thursdays, we sit in the DA2, writing things and stuff about the awe-inspiring surroundings in which we have found ourselves. Dig that smell o' shite. Sometimes we stand. Wanna join us 10.30pm-2.30am. Shinners Mahoney, Agnes Foxx, and DJ Lulu - see us flexing our global muscles. Apologies, we forgot the marshmallows last week. 26 Replies and 4186 Views Slane-who would you suggest?  4186  26 Started by  Gh Sorry the other thread is getting too long... We've heard all the Stereophonic bashing and various other criticisms. Who would you rather see play Slane Realistically! Don't forget your fantasy line-up has to sell 80 000 tickets... Radiohead is the only band that would keep y'all happy i think and they don't seem interested! Or what about having a totally Irish Slane maybe with U2 last year that was the best chance of that ever happening

At last, some worthwhile product placement, the jimmy cake/the jimmy cake/ jimmy cake ,eh/ yes, the ji...... marky

8 Replies and 2392 Views Vote for CLUAS in the Golden Spiders Awards  2392  8 Started by  eoghan CLUAS has been shortlisted for the Dot.ie magazine 'Readers Award' category of the upcoming 'Spider Awards' ceremony (coolaboola). CLUAS has beeen shortlisted along with a number of big-hitter websites (including ryanair.com, rte.ie, eircom.net and, er, ticketmaster.ie) which is kinda satisfying. Anyway the way it works is that you can cast votes for your preferred site and the winner will be announced at some big jamboree in the Burlington hotel on Sept 12th. I would, of course, kindly ask tha...
