i want to vote in the poll but how exactly do you define a debut album, if it's an album by a solo artist who has previously released stuff with a band, or if it's a solo artist who has released various recordings but nothing you could call an album or whatabout someone who's album is out there but the official release date is next yr help please

This is John O'Donovan from Newstalk 106 radio station. I'm the Producer of Late Night Live with Declan Carty, that airs from Mon to Fri from 10pm to 12 Midnight. Every Friday we feature a live band based in Dublin in our 'Wireless Session' and we are looking for bands to take part in the acoustic session on our programme. Also if bands who are interested in taking part in the programme could forward CDs/Demos it would be much appreciated.

I have been getting increasingly annoyed with all the publicity and worship U2 always seem to be getting from fans and the media. They might have had a few good songs (in the 80s and early 90s) but now they are just blatantly crap. And crap pop at that. I mean they are using hype to sell albums/singles that at best are poor and expendable.
I wish they'd just break up or something.

The Things/Death Disco tour 1738 5

The Things are playing a short tour of Ireland with Bp Fallons Death Disco. It kicks off in the Old Oak in Cork on thursday 5th of Decmber, then on to the Ambassador in Dublin on friday the 6th with the S-x Pixels. They are then on up to Belfast on saturday 6th to support the legendary punk rock group the Damned in the Empire, later that night they will be joining Bp Fallon in the Front Page for a spot of Dj-ing.
