How do they get away with it, the Britney Spears, Pink, M&M, etc channel It pisses me off to no end, they call themselves a music channel when all they play are the songs that the big record companies want played - back handers all the way. Its a form of brain washing, of course the kids are going to like such s**t music when its pumped in their ears 24 hours a day.
When was the last time they played Jeff Buckley, Stone Roses, Ryan Adams even Radio head.
God I hate that channel with a pass...

according to their official site r.e.m. will play the day after the sold-out july show (16th & 17th i think are the actual dates)in my lovely back-garden; marlay park, rathfarnham...they're the best band ever and are still great and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!! (sorry, i'm their biggest fan)

BellX1 in UCC. Uggh, but it was a shame at how things went at the gig. It started 1.5 hr late and finished only an hour later. The sound was s**t. The only good thing was that they sang some really good tunes from their new album.
