1 Replies and 1279 Views Crazy stuff... The Ring  1279  1 Started by  JoeCool Don't know if anyone was as lucky to see The Ring either abroad or special preview... well I did. It was excellent ( and F-ing scary) but I was doing a bit of investigating and came onto some funny sites after searching for bits from the movie (i.e. Shelter mountain Inn brought me to http://www.sheltermountaininn.com) If you get a chance to look, do. It's quite cool.

16 Replies and 2679 Views Pete Townshend`  2679  16 Started by  tobble What do you make of this unravelling episode on Pete T Some sort of weird loyalty (I'm no Who fan BTW) makes me give him the benefit of the doubt. Nonethewlss even if it what he says is indeed the Gospel it was profound stupidity that made go and pay child pornographers some cash with his credit card. I hope the computer forensic team find evidence that is consistent with his admissions to date. No matter what it is a sad, sad chapter ether way for one of the great men of rock. tobble

0 Replies and 1324 Views Who supported Damien Dempsey's New Year's Eve gig  1324  0 Started by  John Doe Enjoyed a brilliant New Year's Eve gig from Damien Dempsey in Whelans. What I want to know though is: Who was the guy who did a solo acoustic support just before DD came on Did a brilliant version of Jeff Buckley's cover of 'Hallelujah'. His own songs sounded class. Didn't catch his name though. Said he was playing in Whelans again on the 7th but I just checked their listings and there's nothing there.
