Was any one else at the bruce gig on saturday It was absolutly amazing. The man is fantasic. Such a showman he had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hand. The energy he has is unbelievable. they played for well over three hours non stop and he still looked like he could go another two!! We even got the best setlist of his tour so far. He played stuff like jungleland and kittys back which was deadly... Oh Bliss...

Venues Paying You Too Much ?? 1274 8
Started by eddiesheridan
Are the pubs and clubs paying you too much for your bands performance
I did'nt think so. Having looked around now for a while at what the average band gets paid for a night I think its a complete disgrace.
I heard recently about a certain band getting paid 50 euro for playing a support slot to a packed olympia. With 4 of them in the band that didnt cover their taxi there.
I think with the cost of backline and transport now a minimum of 500 euro should be paid by all venues. Is this crazy

Started by king of nails
sorry to ruin the surprise if you don't already know but 'think tank' has a hidden track called 'white noise'...but it ain't 20min or whatever after the last song...
instead they've used the david gray 'white ladder' technique in that's it's right before track 1, so you have to rewind the cd backwards through the hidden track and hope you release your finger somewhere near the start coz if goes past the start it just plays track 1...
still not sure about the album as a whole yet but it has som...
