Z'ev Sgraffito & Hunter Robertson, Sat 6th 1053 0
Started by sarahblackfort
Blackfort is proud to present as part of the longford multicultural festival:
Z'ev (born Stefan Weiser) straddles the nearly unbridgeable and highly volatile gulf between the art worldand the music industry. Acclaimed as one of the world's best and most original percussionists, Z'ev began recording in the 60's in a handful of psych-out projects. Performing on everything from hand-built percussive instruments culled from scrap yards consisting of unwieldy Pieces of sheet metal, giant metal pip...

The Olympia - Sat 19th March 2005 1154 19
Started by Carlsberg
Hi all
Jove will headline The Olympia on Saturday 19th March 2005. Special guests/support ticket information will be announced presently. There will be either 2 or 3 extra bands on the night, we're just awaiting curfew times. Apart from hoping to get some exposure for the gig, this is a genuine move to open one or two possible hidden doors for Irish bands.
All feedback welcome as always and thanks for so much comment in the previous post.

Electric Cool Aid Test - The Things, Stone Ocean 1194 5
Started by MurrayMint
Rock and roll came out of the blues.
It originated in sweaty halls, crowded bars, and jukebox joints.

It was whispered that some of the earliest practitioners had sold their soul to the devil and while many laughed no one denied.
It spawned a generation, gave them their name, a soundtrack to their li...

Stuck in the 80's 1156 0
Started by gelt vaha
I'm kind of half thinking to blowing the cobwebs off my old synthisiser setup and doing a set of my own celubrious original 80's music (that never made it to the charts for some reason!) Yep that's the last time I did a set of this stuff! in The Underground (now a lap dancing club!) I've tightened the sound up with more modern gear, but I have to face that my heart, in relation to music, belongs to the 80's- and no apologies! If there is anyone else out there who feels the same and would like t...
