Leed's indie rockers Sky Larkin play Dublin's Academy 2 on Tuesday 5 May. Tickets for the show are €13 incl. booking fee. Made up of two old friends (Katie and Nestor) and one newer one (Doug) Sky Larkin’s ascent has been rapid and invigorating. Their new single, the punkishly infused ‘Beeline’ to come next month, the band have garnered comparisons with the likes of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Breeders and the Violent Femmes, though that tells a mere portion of the story. Baby Jenx Live @ the Academy 2 2078 1

BABY JENX
Named after a character in Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles, Dublin’s Baby Jenx have been together since the summer of 2005. Influenced by the big stadium sounds of Radiohead, Muse and U2, but with their own musical aesthetic firmly to the fore, they play melodic, alternative rock. An exhilarating live band, not to be missed!

I can't speak for the other bands, but what you can expect from us is some slightly shambolic slow-ish lo-fi guitar stuff. Now who the hell could resist that
See you there, undoubtedly
Cheers
