The Ben Prevo play Langtons Hotel in Kilkenny 1579 0
Started by stauntino
This is going to be a regular spot with the best Blues and Swing in Ireland playing every Saturday from 5 till 7. Ben Prevo Band:This no-nonsense, hard- hitting combo serves up a heady brew of blues, soul, rock and funk with great panache. The main man is New Yorker Ben Prevo (guitar & vocals) who has worked with Jaco Pastorius, Jefferson Airplane and Hothouse Flowers. An excellent band for an excellent venue. Don't miss this rockin' crowd-pleaser.

THOMAS LEEB (fingerstyle guitarist) - Upstairs @ Whelan's - Wed 6th May 8pm 1583 0
Started by Sparse
Thomas Leeb is one of those cool fingerstyle guitarist in
the same vein as Preston Reed and Erik Mongrain. Very impressive to
watch. I saw Preston Reed play in Whelan's back in November and was
very surprised how good it was. Wasn't that much into the music but it
made a lot more sense live. He brought 10 guitars with him for one gig! Thomas Leeb's music is better so this should be fun.
