..this weekend. Who are people going to see? I will defo be going to see Peaches and I would recommend people check out The Things who are on just beforehand. Here's a review of a recent gig they did in London. Good to see an Irish band making waves elsewhere.. http://www.factmagazine.co.uk/da/43576

I recommend envelope. ( www.thepostroom.com or www.myspace.com/envelopemusic ) and Channel One and if I can stay awake long enough on the day, I'm heading to Giveamanakick, 'cos I've never seen them before. Then it's just random bands and wandering for me...

I reckon Friday night in Spirit Main Room, Saturday night in Spirit Rock Room & then Sunday night in Meeting House Square should do me nicely. Cant say i really see the point in this Canadian Invasion thing, even a few UK bands would've been more interestin.

Still haven't got around to getting a ticket yet. Whats the story, do yo buy a ticket then exchange it for a wristband like in previous years?

Yep. Wristbands exchanged at Filmbase, opposite the TBMC.

It's annoying that the industry talks are from 12-2pm and then there are no bands til around 8.. what exactly are you meant to do?! Surely it'd make more sense for them to be 5-7 or something, then you could get dinner and go to shows!

The gap is to allow working class artistes to return to the coal mines and linen factories for a shift of labour.
