I've got the version with both the mono and stereo mixes, plus the original version of "I know theres an answer" which was called "hang on to your ego". I can't see anything further that can be added without simply adding the stuff on the Pet Sounds sessions box set. Still, on the plus side, it does generate some interest in the album and hopefully entice a younger generation who don't already have a copy to buy it.
I actually prefer the earlier, simpler beach boys stuff myself.

Best Beach Boys' tune is "Feel Flows."

yeah - thats a cracker but don't forget Till i die and Surfs up on the same album. And forget Student Demonstration Time covered by Mike Love. That man has serious delusions.
Have yet to hear a stereo version of Pet sounds - is it worth it or will I hate it?

On the subject of the beach boys I was listening to Yo La Tengo's "I can hear the heart beating as one" today. There's a great cover of "little honda" on it.

Yeah, absolutely love that cover, it's one of my favourite beach boys songs too.

Yeah, great tune that YLT cover alright. I've never heard the original.
Looking forward to getting my mitts on their new release but no sign of it in the shops yet.
