Absolutely agree on the interviews. I have never, ever heard that accent in Oireland before. I met him once. Actually pretty decent - was through the Special Olympics and he was cool with all the athletes. Much cooler than any of the other "celembrities" that were there. All kudos to him in that respect. ais.

It's interesting that his best performances (or those that he's generally thought to be best in), Tigerland and Phone Booth, came at the start of his career when he was only able to get roles in smaller films, but they were good roles. As his star has risen he's been in progressively bigger films, but the films and the roles have been worse, as has his performances.
