If you like The Faint, then I'd definitely reccomend a band I've mentioned many times before: Adult.
Not going to be everones taste, a lot of people will just probably find it unpleasant and annoying, but if you like stuff like the Faint, you'll probably love it. Latest album is less Electro sounding than in the past, more The B-52s fronted Polly Styrene or Siouxsie Sioux only a bit more unhinged.

...oh OK, probably more BPitch Control stuff and I keep meaning to buy more 60s/70s Soul but not really knowing where to start, I mean I know what I like but just wonder should I bother with some soul artists back catalogue of albums (e.g. Solomon Burke) or just get some really good singles compilations as popular wisdom is that most soul artists were singles rather than album artists really.
