Due to previous engagements, I missed the gig, so please stop talking about it, or I will have a large dry cleaning bill from vomitting with jealousy. :(

My God was that gig amazing... I've never seen such persistence from the crowd for an encore...
Got some brilliant videos, was right at the front, the file size is massive though, just trying to work out a way to get them up for all you poor b*stards who missed it..
Anyone have any comments on the support, Film School? Only got the last half of their set but sounded solid, and the base player was pretty hot ;p

My mate was in to see them and said they were very standard fare... Your average indie rock band

I placed a bug in the dressing room beforehand and here's part of the transcript
Film School guy: OK dudes, what we'll do tonight is play something that sounds like a bunch of 80's bands and then finish it with a big noise wigout. We'll do that for every song, that way people will think that we're OK but nothing special.
Rest of band in unison: Sounds like a plan.

I was able to pick up both the previous ablums in Tower last night if anyone is on the lookout for them.

Saw them on Jools Holland last night, thought they seem pretty interesting. I'm currently downloading some of the mp3s put up by Una, via the blistering speed of my 56k modem.

Bit underwhelming on Jools I thought. Wish they'd done Mr.November. Wouldve won quite a few converts I think.

Agreed Norman, I thought it was an odd choice.. although Lit Up is still a great up tempo song, Mr November or Abel might have attracted more eager ears... I thought Secret Meeting opening the gig in Whelans was great, but it didn't seem to project well on Jools, I suppose they were just trying to display their versatility, what with one big pop song and then the more delicate sound. Then again my housemate watched it with me and for someone who had never heard them before, he was still impressed.

Methinks Matt Berringer repeatedly screaming "I won't f**k us over" wouldn't have gone over too well with the Jools production team so that's probably why Mr. November didn't get played.
