Just regarding the Tom Dunne comment - Tom, pretty much single-handedly made the Thrills in Ireland by pushing them and raving about them so much when they emerged and I reckon Mr. Dunne often raves about very middle of the road music and pushes it. As a result Joe "I don't know any better and can't make up my onn mind" jumps on the bandwagon and the artist sells out gigs and has pretty good album sales. At the moment he is always raving about Tom Baxter and he is always raving about Ryan Adams, Josh Ritter and Mark Geary. The one thing that they all have in common is that they are bland in the extreme. There is nothing new or exciting about it. Anyone agree or disagree. This probably should be a different thread but sure what harm!
