Here I come, making it all mainstream/commercial but I will have to say Anastacia. That woman is one hell of a WOOOO-MAAAAN!!!!!
She'd be really good at ordering pints in a noisy bar too, with a voice like hers. Only problem is that she'd have to stand on a barstool to be seen.

Remember Cerys Matthews? She's was a top piece of totty, as the say, in some European countries.
Whatever happened to her band? Actually, what was the name of the band?
Didnt she do a song, "Tom Jones" i think it was called, with that dude from Space?

That would be Catatonia. They broke up ages ago. I think she's doing the solo thing now. Apparently she was an animal for the drink as well.

Never liked Catatonia, but her solo album "Cockahoop" is marvellous. She got married to some Yank, lives over there, I think...
Cockahoop is largely Americana folk done really well, with bits of Welsh thrown in for good measure.

Ta for that.
I dont dislike Catatonia. I found them a little more exciting than the slew of brit-pop that was around at the time. And as I said, she had it going on.

No offence Optimus but you've a strange taste in women. Anastacia and Cerys Matthews? They're both a slight bit masculine I reckon. I'd be more for a Sophie Ellis Bextor type myself.

Symetrical people are more attractive, scientifically proven fact.
Not a lot of people know that

Ah Princess Leia, my first love. Then Susanna Hoffs. I can't remember who was next.
