i fear telling you lot what i think of it for fear of another lengthy thread starting so i'm over there on the sidelines drinking iced tea while you lot sort this one out. i'll listen to the new ones from Rhymefest, ESG and Camille instead.

Well I wouldn't know about the effects of the timing of its release. All I know is that I bought it yesterday, I gave it a couple of listens and think it's an excellent album.

You just admitted you haven't heard Humanzi's album yet they piss all over Kasbian? Based on what? Anyhooo, this thread will run and run

gar, its deadly. i really like the "dynomite (going postal)" tune and "more", "brand New" and "devil's pie" are the ones to go for if you're downloading una - YES! camille gets better and better with every listen on humanzi - there was a review of the album on Newstalk this morning which said that it ounded like "a transistional year student's polemic on politics". makes me want to stay even further away from it.

Based on seeing Humanzi play live on numerous occasions, including twice in the past month!!! And seeing Kasabian in Spirit 2 weeks ago. Is this satisfactory for you nerraw? I heard the album on friday evening. Its absolute quality!

It's a great album, with loads of energy and something to say, for a change. It also managed to sell 900 copies on its first day of release. I think that's pretty impressive for a band so quickly dismissed for their haircut and the fact that they play guitars.
