jj cale, absolutely brilliant! really like "mama don't" "crazy mama" and "call me the breeze" dude is just so laidback!

If you like J.J. Cale pick up a copy of his 'Travel Log' as it's really good. I just got 'Man Made' by Teenage Fanclub, a real return to form from a great band. Re: Death Cab For Cutie - I ordered that 'John Byrd Ep' through Road Recs so all is well (even if it's a bit pricey for an Ep).
