Slick, give us a break man....selling yourselves on this forum just to get men??? Are you taking the f**kin' piss or what? Lighten up it was a bit of banter between me and someone I know as a mate - there was nothing serious in it - and you know what makes me fume...and Shewolf I reckon you'd agree with me here - if I was a bloke making a comment about a bird in a band no one would have been in the least bit bothered..sure Duncan was doin some serious chatting up and asking out there not so long ago..and no one had a thing to say about that!! Probably because they know that it's been done in a light hearted manner and nothing worth getting bothered about. Now Slick why don't you do a bit of growing up and lighten the f**k up too?

No offence intended to either shewolf or dromed. But this is a forum for all as you so put it, but can you just talk about something else maybe, cos your long passages about what you think looks good is boring (smoke in mouth) and all the rest.Keep the peace let`s not get off on the wrong foot.I have seen the Loose, and yes they are talented and a breath of fresh air to the live scene but stick to the music talk thanks.

Slick does me talking about something other than the purist pursuit of music and music alone bother you? Now why is that? So if someone brings up the topic of being working class (or not) to discuss in relation to music, or about venues and what a rip off they have become, or the price of cds in Dublin at the moment...all recent topics...that bothers you too? But you'll just point out me making a comment on something other then 'the music, man' as being off the point and irritating for you to read? Ehhh getting off on the wrong foot?? Your f**kin right you are - what's yer problem?

Wow there what`s with all the aggression you don`t have to resort to abuse or do you? It`s fine and good to talk about all the things you mentioned but you don`t do that.I am not here on this to argue with you so calm down I am only expressing an opinion you have given yours and it is duly noted so can we please drop it.
You are in Hi-rise yeah heard good things about your band what have you lined up for the future.

"It`s fine and good to talk about all the things you mentioned but you don`t do that" - Slick
I think you'll find Slick that most of the posters on this board, myself included, are well able to talk about things other than just 'the music', if you find those topics "long and boring" then I'm sorry for you, if you have found my passages "long and boring" what can i say?...i don't come on this borad to try and entertain the likes of you, I come on to talk about music and music-related things...and sometimes just 'stuff'...with people I like yapping with, people who are interested in sharing views on a range of subjects, people that can articulate an intelligent and enlightened opinion, people that make me laugh...why don't you post some new threads and add something constructive, give us something 'new' and 'interesting' to talk about and then we'll leave it at that.

slick, does your grievances with the two ladies come from a deep-rooted desire to be sought after by women? sex is part of the music, as too is sense of humour, the good/bad thing about this forum is that folk can talk about what they want. i think its pretty entertaining dont u? for the most part people do try keeping the talk about the music..but there is so much more involved....its great fun....lighten up...

I agree with you in full dirty, but as Shewolf so adaptly put it, "This forum is to express your opinion and opinions are subjective and individual."
Now enough with all that.
Nice weather we are having!

sharks darling, you obviously know their 'story' then, you're quite right he could be a she then she could be slick's girl and together they could f**k off and talk drivel and not have to subject themselves to intelligence, sexiness, fun or rock'n'roll.
i presumed, and it was presumed, it was a guy cos normally women are so much more intelligent than that, but on a second look, it's petty and too complex for its own good to be a man
hey could be a f**kin hermaphrodite for all i care, i don't like the smell of her/him/it. i can smell the s**t from here.

tryin'is right, and guessing you're wrong is apt, you normally are, you made a good point he could be a she, but so what about the gender its what they say that counts surprisingly- you were showing some good taste there for a while- but to paraphrase rhett butler- frankly, my dear,i don't give a f**k. i'd rip her (or him) to shreds. growlin'wolf

We're all a pack of Queens on this site Fishface...Ha ha ha!!
Speaking of Queens ...any Morrissey fans here?? Like him or hate him, he's a dry, witty bastard..I read this quote in an interview with him recently and broke my s**te laughin'....
Interviewer: Did you hear TATU's version of How Soon Is Now?
Morrissey: Yes, it was magnificent. Absolutely. Again, I don't know much about them.
Interviewer: They're the teenage Russian lesbians.
Morrissey: Well, aren't we all?

Another Morrissey classic. On being introduced as a singer to a "Music Industry Exec" at a Hollywood party, the exec asks does he have a demo? Mozzer replies that he has thirteen down at the local Vrigin.

That's one of the best things I ever heard. Oh Morrissey, if only.
