Having read a number of posts in this forum, we would like to make the following statement:
As a founding member and spokesperson of The Shenanigans, the rest of the band would like to stress that the opinions voiced by Mickel aka Michael John Henderson do not reflect the views of this band. Although Mickel has been a member of this band from the beginning, his contribution of late has been minimal and his claim that it is his band is completely false.
We respect and support fully all our fellow musicians who take the time and effort to perform for the enjoyment of others. We have not heard of the band criticized by Mickel but we wish them the best of luck not only tonight but for the future. It is this type of petty criticism that has hampered the development of many bands in the past.
Keep it live.
The Shenanigans

Following some lenghty consideration I have decided to end my association with the band The Shenanigans effective immediately. I have enjoyed the past couple of years immensely.
But in the past couple of months there have been some differences both personal and artistically that have affected my relationships with the other members of the band. The band and I have begun to move in opposite directions musically and I feel it is now time for me to leave and pursue a solo career.
so watch out Dublin Mickel is coming to town,

The Plot thickens once again!
Mickel, if your career as a solo artist fails, it won't be for lack of publicity on these boards
Dromed, whatdya reckon, you and Mickel in an Eminem 8-Mile style musical battle? This sounds a bit like the script for a Rocky Movie, the pro comes out of retirement to take on a plucky challenger. Come on Dromed, show the new kid in town what your made of! (hmmm, this could be a spaghetti western too)

I'm allergic to the moronic, Binokular...& can't rise to a challenge if there is no real challenge present!! Besides, Mickel will be in Dublin soon, standing at the back of gigs heckling the bands, heckling the crowd...he won't be so hard to find.

Besides, Mickel will be in Dublin soon so no doubt he'll be hanging around the likes of Dorans to heckle the bands, heckle the crowd...I'm more concerned for The remaining members of the Shenanigans now he has departed though, there should be a hotline for divorced band-members...

no worries, having a pretty brain-not-functioning day myself. Not hung over, was trying to write a song with my musical co-conspirator last night. Spent ages, we were trying to write a pop song, but it kept ending up as acid house.
