Manchester's Hottest new club night is joined by a Madchester legend to bring a bit of Northern Soul to Dublin. Chips With Everything has been the most outrageous club in town and now it's crossing the water for one night only to bring you two acts the night has spawned. First off,Bane Overlord are pure, heads down rock power. Forget The Darkness. They are like pussies compared to Bane Overlord. I have seen someone crying like a baby at a Bane gig because their ears hurt from guitar. Next up, Stazi have been described as like Daft Punk meets The Mondays by some. Creation Records boss Alan Mcgee said it was ' The maddest club night he had put on in 20 years' after Stazi played for him. And when Rowetta of the happy Mondays joined she said 'They gave me a feeling that no-one else had given her since the Mondays'. Stazi play Electro-Soul with enough Bass in it to make your stomach bleed. Now to top this all off will be Bez, dancer extraordinaire from the Happy Mondays and Black Grape will be teaming up with DJ and producer Tom Autobot to put on a very special live show, expect the unexpected here!!!!Also featured to open up the nights proceeding will be a short sharp shock of sleazy punk from The Subtonics' This all takes place in The Hub on friday December 12th, Tickets are €10 and are available from Sound Cellar, Road Records and Comet. This event is brought to dublin by CPU, The Hub and Chips Records (Manchester) it promises to be a crazy night! www.cpu.ie
