The Microset Sessions are back with another excellent line up of
Original Acoustic talent this friday night, 21st November, at the Boom
Boom Room.
Featured Artists on the night are:
-My Brother Woody-
My Brother Woody is the creation of 24 year old Irish songwriter &
multi-instrumentalist Michael Cleare. Michael has played extensively
around Ireland, sharing the bill with the likes of Mundy, Turn, Marc
Carroll, the Chalets, & Colm Quearney (Q). Having spent a year writing
and recording in San Francisco, he returned to Ireland to put the
finishing touches on his debut e.p. Theres a sweet, innocent, wistful
quality to the music, a breath of fresh air, like fellow West Coast pop
enthusiasts the Thrills, into a sometimes overly earnest & introspective
Irish songwriter scene.

-Julia Harris-
Julia makes her second appearance at the Microset Sessions after a great
set last month. Julia hails from Wales & she and her band Westgate
Street recently re-located to Ireland to impress themselves on the Irish
music scene.
Her music has been described as a cross between Ani DeFranco & Tracy
Chapman. Check out her music at:

-Arch Stanton-
Arch Stanton, one of Dublins most original acoustic duo's, makes a
welcome return to the Microset Sessions. After a well received
performance supporting Martin Grech at Whelans recently, Arch takes his
refined acoustic sound (in the company of Colm Sullivan) to the Boom
Boom Room this friday.
