The Boom Boom goes Baltic this Friday! What!! I hear you say? Well, The Boom Boom Room is open to all styles & dedicated to bringing you new musical experiences. "Nojus" are an acclaimed band from Lithuania with no less than 8 albums under their belt! This Friday 14/11/03, they peform at the Boom Boom Room. Irish art & culture have had a great influence on the creation of their sound so its only natural that they should finally peform here. The members of the band "Nojus", are a core group of a bigger outfit, "Airija", which means Ireland in lithuanian! Their music has been described as "Baltic Folkrock". An event not to be missed! For more info check: www.omnitel.net/nojus Admission €6/€5 Gigsmart. The Boom Boom Room is located just off the top of O'Connell St at: 70 Parnell St Dublin 1. (Above Patrick Conway's Pub) Doors: 8.30pm.

Did you know that the boom boom room is one of the only venues in Dublin not operating a pay to play policy! i.e. Bands from all genres can get promoted, play a gig and get more than the usual "cheers lads!" at;) the end of the night as the bar manager rubs his hands after another successful night of beer sales..... So can all please get behind our postings as your support of this venue is important to young hard wroking musicians. Thanks

Really? Do they "fix you up" for the gig? We're playing there on the 27th of November. Keith

Keith, What does "Fix you up" mean? Looking forward to your Microset Gig on the 27th with Tony Ciara and Stephen! The Microsets, for those who don't know are, are PR gigs for talented new, rising, and established talent on the Original Acoustic scene. Check getagig.ie for all microset listings! I haven't updated it yet but I will over the weekend I promise! from there you can view all microset artists performing until the end of the year with links to all their websites etc and it's amazing value as well at €3 each or €5 for 2 people. THats 4-5 acts for less than the price of....well most things! Enjoy and Support Live music, support new music!
