Holy Ghost Fathers launch their debut CD at Whelans on Wednesday 13th of February.
€8 in, including CD.
In their own words:
"Holy Ghost Fathers play a fusion of alt. country, post rock and garage
rock'n'roll. They play a loud and noisy set with some quieter moments which
combine to evoke a sense of sleazy Americana."
Support on the night is from:
Weevil (Cork)
The Nervous Penneys (Dublin)

I hear that the fathers will be playing in Sligo soon with Renko. If so, i) what's the venue? ii) How much in? and c)any after show parties planned?
Please, Mr. Edison, won't you invent a machine to stop these monsters?

We're playing with Renko in Eamonn Dorans on Weds the 27th.
At the mo it looks like we are playing on our own back in our old Stomping ground of McGarrigles ( http://www.expage.com/mcgarrigles ) in Sligo although we haven't confirmed a date.
Mickey G's is always free in.
As for parties, too early to say, but going last time we played home when we nearly got into a fight gate-crashing one, I wouldn't be too optimistic!
