    Stazi are a 2 piece (who extend to a 3/4 piece on special occasions) who i happened upon at the In The City 2003 festival in Manchester. They are a Manc band playing crafty catchy singalong electropop tunes and who are really worth checking out. They are involved in running the Chips Records who CPU hope to invite over to Dublin to showcase their bands and DJs in the run up to christmas, they also enlist the help of ex-Happy Mondays siren Rowetta on backing vocals, she wont be appearing with Stazi this time round but hopefully next time. they will play thomastown co. kilkenny on fri oct 10th with snow patrol and voodoo in dublin on sat oct 11th for CPU#2 for more info www.chipsrecords.co.uk

    Yeah, I heard about them when I was in Manchester. Sounds like they're well worth checkin' out. I know from experiance that Thomastown might go either way for them though. It's exactly a "hip-happenin" place.
