Hey All. Sorry I'm posting this one so late!Tonight at the Boom Boom Room ( 70 Parnell St Dublin 1) "The Microset Sessions". A collection of mini-gigs by todays finest Singer/Songwriters and Acoustic Based Performers. An excellent nights music is guaranteed! On the Bill tonight, in no particular order is: * Julia Harris (www.juliamusic.com). Julia hails from Wales and her and her band, Westgate Street (who played an excellent gig in the Boom Boom Room last night. Thanks all!),have just moved to Dublin to check out the nusic scene. Her music is a cross between Ani De Franco, Jewel, and Tracy Chapman. * Arch Stanton (www.stantonstation.com - cool website) Arch Stanton are an excellent duo from Dublin. Please check their website for more info. Great guitar work and blending of Muiscal Styles! * Louise Byrne (www.louisebyrnemusic.com) Louise is a veteran of the Acoustic Circuit in Dublin and has built up a great reputation over the last two years. this will be her first gig in Dublin in a while so please lend your support. * Kal (aka Karen O Reilly) Haunting melodies and well crafted songs really set this rising talent apart from many. Kal played the first ever Microset Sessions way back in July and shes back after a little tour of the East Coast of the US. Check her out. *Eoghan Scott ( Back to the Sessions by audience demand!) Eoghan used to front a great band called Yellowstone, who used to pack the Village, Whelans ona regular Basis. Eoghan is on sabbatical at the moment to concentrate on his songwriting so this is a great chance to catch him in reflective mood. Expect great things. All we need now are people to come along and listen to soom good music. Its Friday night. Its the WEEKEND. Its live. Its only 3 euro. In fact its 2 persons for 5 euro! You will not get a better deal in this town on a weekend night. I need to keep the venue open so please come along and lend your support. Thanks for reading this. If you have any questions/comments or wish to play the Boom Boom Room please email me at boomboomlive@hotmail.com. The Boom Boom Room is located just off the top of O'Connell St, above Patrick Conways Pub, 70 Parnell St Dublin 1. 8:30pm Sharp. please come early to support all the acts, get great value for money and get a seat! Cheers. Kenneth.
