Really really really enjoyed the gig last night - took them a couple of songs to get into their stride but they got there eventually and played a blinder - NYC and Stella were amazing. Great guitar sound, and for once a great drum sound - whatever about the merits of the Village as a decent venue - there was a good atmosphere - the band seemed a little weary or unsure of how the crowd were going to be with them - I think their last gig in Spirit might have put them on edge this time and they didn't know what to expect - but by half way through their set there was a good vibe going on and they seemed to be enjoying themselves. The stage was a bit cramped for them though. And Damn they looked good. Lads...can I just say if you're in a band and want to get laid (or if you just want to get laid) you'll be pretty hard pushed not to get a bit of action if you are wearing a sharp suit - sorry just had to say that...there aren't enough good suit wearing young men around Dublin these days....c'mon dig it out of the wardrope and giv us a gawk! Ha ha ha! Kloot what did you make of it?

They were fan-tastic...the crowd went nuts for them. Sound was class. I got in early to get a good spot, right in front of the sound desk. Spot on.. Stella was brilliant. The new stuff sounded really good as well. The venue wasnt overly packed either and raising the air conditioners of the ground was a great idea. I met the bass player afterwards and then i bumped into the lead singer downstairs and got him to sign a t-shirt for a mate. What do you reckon..the olympia next ?? The support band werent bad either.. p.s. your right about those suits...they were doing well out of them

Yeah well all i can say is that if I had of been able to get my hands on the guitarist i would have ruined him....ha ha ha - he looked really good on stage, bit of a shaper, what Shewolf would describe as Star Quality i guess - but then he walked passed me in the bar and he was smaller then me....what a let down....what a brewer's droop. Still i could have over looked it for the sake of a crisply laundered suit....jesus i think i need a cold shower. Don't know where I'd to see them play next Kloot - the olympia would probably be a good one, good size stage, decent size but still pretty intimate - i like that venue a lot.
