I've been listening to them for a while now, but seeing them twice this week has made me fall ABSOLUTELY in love with them. They're the most joyous, danceable, pretty, geeky, twee, perfect pop band I've heard in at least a week.
Here is a rather lovely music video for Rent A Wreck:

And here they are again singing two of my favourite songs of theirs live, a tiny bit messily:

Funeral Face

Loop Duplicate My Heart
they're on the mighty Labrador Records and probably have a myspace and stuff too.

Aw these guys have served me so well this year. They've literally soundtracked my every month of 2006. Those 2 EPs and album have definitely made them one of my favourite bandies ever. I'd planned to see them last month in Birmingham but it fell through...
But it'd be rude to fail to mention that they'll be here very soon on a full Irish tour!
Thanks for those videos..maze-in!

Only coped onto the fact that they are named after a line in a Silver Jews song.

For any fans of SKWBN - we've just released an ep of songs from #1 & #2 (actually, three from #1) for Ireland & the UK.
1 Rent A Wreck 2 Love Will 3 Do It All Or Don't Do It All 4 Guns N' Ammo
You can buy it through us or any shop should order it for you. If you really can't wait, Road Records in Dublin also has copies for €5.
Apologies for this spam but thought interested folk might like to know, there's more about the release in the dedicated spam board.
