Hi Guys,
I was at a Chris Rea concert in Dublin the other night
(brought to it as a stand in for my uncle who couldn't make it!!) However, turned out to be a great night. The support act was a guy from Derry called Paul Casey. Never heard of him to be honest but as I play a bit of guitar myself I was absolutely blown away by his guitar playing and songs. I actually bought his cd called 'Songs in Open tuning' at the foyer. I have to say it is the best album I've heard in a few years and I have spent all weekend listening to it. I found this site by doing a search on him on google. I think it is my duty to inform people of this hidden gem. I haven't been this enthused about an album since I heard Oasis's definitely maybe! I even phoned hotpress to find out if they had heard about him and they said they had already done a review on the album and Jackie Hayden had given it 9/10. Must have missed that months mag!
