Another recommendation from me is this lot.
New UK band - quirky indie pop / kitschy and Cure-esque in parts... but thats prob more to do with the vocals.

yeh i love it, has an epic quality to it without veering into coldplay territory - best video i've seen this year too with it's sped up footage of wildlife, sunsets and sunrise over the mountains and lakes (of Scotland I think)

i saw it on MTV2 at about 2 in the morning a few weeks back - they had 4tet doing that '120 minutes' slot and he came up with some right gems including 'we're here'
