Haven't seen these guys mentioned round these parts.
They released one of my favourite albums of last year "And The Glass handed kites" following up on an excellent debut "Frengers".
They sound like a beautiful blend of My Bloody Valentine, M83, and Sonic Youth.

speaking of M83, would bloody love to see these guys whether it be here or abroad - they don't seem to be touring at the moment unfortunately and no word on when they're touring again

Their Sugar Club gig about 2 years ago now was rather excellent.
Guess they're taking a break at the moment, hopefully they'll be back to us witha new album and tour soon.

MEW are the best band ive heard in years. I accidently discovered them in October- very late it appears!
My friend and i are so addicted we went to London last week to see them in the Shepherds Bush Empire. They are incredible live. I honestly didnt expect that they could reproduce that sound live. We were speechless after 'Zookeepers Boy'. Jonas Bjerres voice is amazing...and the films!!!I cannot remember the last time i heard such an original sound....couldve been 1988...might have been MBV but nothing as good as this since.
so good to find other MEW fans!!
