Anyone bought or heard "Tournament Of Hearts"? Like it so far after 2 listens but strangely hard to describe. Another Canuck band from Guelph outside Toronto.

I wasn't as instantly drawn to the new album as I was to their previous stuff. But once you give it time, it turns out to be quite a good album.

Yep, Im a big fan of the constantines. Ive got all 3 albums, although, like gar, i wasnt initially drawn to the new album. A lot of mark lanegan similaritys. some great tunes.
They played the uk recently. I dropped them a mail though their myspace account and they were a tad miffed at not making it to ireland

Yeah, i can hear the Lanegan gruffness alright. I think their reference points might belong outside my record collection cos I cant figure out how to describe it to people. Any suggestions?

Spoon and Black Mountain remind me of them a little. But their real boisterous sound, in the style that they adopt, sounds like them to be honest.
