Well,
anyone know of anyone selling tickets for the Whelans gigs or is there any word of extra tickets/change of venue?

I thought i would feel your pain until a friend of mine with excellent foresight told me he had picked up a few spares. Hope the venue doesn't change (selfish) but if i'll check and see if he's got any left and PM you if he does.

That'd be dead on, thanks a million.
I know what you mean about the change of venue, saw him twice in Vicar st and as brilliant as it was I'd still like to see the Oldham Show somewhere a wee bit more intimate.

Wouldn't say they'll change the venue. Foggy Notions are putting it on so I imagine they're more interested in having a good show than bumping it up to a bigger, crappier venue and cramming the gaf with half wits. such altruism really does warm your heart.*
*feel free the f**k me out of it in you find yourself half way done the back of the village, struggling to see BPB beyond a wall of camera phones.

I can't believe people would actually WANT to see someone in Whelans. What's wrong with you all!

Cause I like that chap that stands at the bar. He's not very talkative though.

Yeah, i love Whelan's. Much better than The Village. All you need is to get a good vantage point by arriving early-ish.
