hi, i'm all for this kind of thing. but wma isn't a good format for distribution. don't forget that microsoft aren't (yet) Official Providers Of Computer Software To The World.
i'm listening to south and it's real good.

Musicmatch jukebox is pretty good for converting CD audio to MP3, and its free for the standard version, theres loads of other free CD ripping sofware out there as well.
I'm having trouble downloading the songs, can you check are the links broken? It could be just the firewall I'm behind.

Mick, I didn't manage to download all the songs, but I figured you'd like a little feedback. By the way this is just my completely non-expert opinion based my own sense of musical aesthetic, you don't have to agree with it!
Of the two songs I downloaded, "Paper" is pleasant but doesn't really pull me in. "South" is more impressive but patchy, its really great in the more subdued emotionally contained moments especially when vocal harmonies are used over a sparse arrangement, but the more OTT moments grate a bit. With some creative editing (3-4 minutes) I reckon this would be a really strong song.
Looking forward to hearing more of your stuff!
