I'll start the ball rolling, no more than €35 all in.

I've seen them live twice and they are pretty bad - even though I'm a bit of a fan.
I'd go if I had a blag, but wouldn't bother otherwise.

For a well established act with a good live reputation in a small to mid-sized venue, I'd pay up to €40.
Any increases past €50 are hard to justify.

I presume we're talking about any gig and not just the killers?
If its for the killers, I saw them play the new band stage at Oxegen and never again, hideous.
For any gig? Depends on the venue etc but my upper limit would be €50 but we're talking legendary bands in a small venue.
Would've loved to see Neil Young at Vicar Street but he maybe rocking in the free world, but I wasn't prepared to hand over €110 to see him.
If was a blag? Well, I'd go but would tell everyone that I could get blags

I'd pay €30 to see them in somewhere like The Olympia / Vicar St. But The Point / RDS? Ugh, no way.

Few of years back I paid 80euro i think to see Paul McCartney in the RDS, stupid money but it was very good gig that I wouldn't have missed.
I'd like to see Sufjan next week but i'm not prepared to pay 70 or 80 on ebay for a ticket.
For the Killers I suppose 40euro is about what i'd be expecting to pay, saw them at Glasto last year, like the band but no particular desire to see them again based on the new album.

I paid 160 euro to see Neil Young at Vicar St.
Roughly 100 euro for two tickets for Mogwai at the Royal Albert Hall.
Madness maybe, but if you're really passionate about a band or artist and they affected you some way then I don't mind paying silly money to see them live.

I paid €75 to see Brian Wilson in Vicar St, but I'd hardly ever do that.

Anything they asked for Radiohead, I've paid €40+ for the Flaming Lips but only becasue it was Vicar Street. It'd depend on how big a fan I was and how many times I'd seen them before.
Anything over €25 for a band in Vicar Street/The Olympia and I begin to think about it. Any less and I'm usually happy enough.

I paid $105 for U2 in Seattle last year and got crapass nosebleed seats.
Pretty much everything else is <$25.
Coachella was $200 for 2 days.
edit. To answer the Question ... well I don't know. Probably $100 for someone like Radiohead whom I have never seen or Pink Floyd. I don't mind paying top $ for someone who I *know* will be superb.

I went to Weezers first Irish gig in Vicar St and had a mate there who had paid €70 or so. Then they went and announced a gig in the Point only about 2 weeks later.

f*ck thats a lot of money, was that to a tout or was that how much they were?
Its one thing paying big money face value, its a completely different feeling paying big money to a tout.

Me too I'm afraid. That's why promoters will charge us €50 to see The Blue Nile in a few weeks time. Some people I know in Boston got tickets for a just announced show by the same band there.
The cost? €15.

I paid 110 euro for 2 Depeche Mode tickets (then lost them?!?)and bought 2 more outside for 180. Still the best gig I have ever been to though.

I really like some tracks on JT's new record - it seems to have completely dissapeared of the radar though. (only after FM104 played Sexy Back 450 times per day)

That sucks. I got on the guestlist and actually sold one of the tickets outside the venue. But i gave it for face value!
It depends who was playing for me to refuse to pay a certain price. I mean i'd pay alot of money to see neutral milk hotel, brian wilson and other artists
