can anyone tell me exactly where this is, and if its any good?
Its directly opposite the orange "Booze to Go" on the Summerhill side of Parnell St. It doesnt actually say Ice Bar anywhere but its in between two Chinese restaurants.
Its definately one of my favourite places in Dublin at the moment.
It might be an idea though to check if theres anything on though before you go. A few of my mates organise some great gigs there quite often and the music is fairly heavy jungle and dubstep, so if thats not your cup of tea, you might be better off going another night. Theres generally a cover charge on the door also if anything is happening.
When theres no gigs though, the place can be quiet enough but theres a pretty decent dukebox there.
Really nice, tolerant, barstaff, great smoking and rolling garden, and a really friendly atmosphere. Definately worth a visit.
Oh, and they'll serve you cheap offo if youre nice to them as youre leaving.
