Leeds/Redding on BBC3 all weekend, hope they do a better job of it than CH/E/More4 did of V festival, in fact nothing could be worse. Are RTE really going to cover the EP like BBC3?

BBC3? Not really a widely accessible channel. Just like ITV4 showing the Arsenal game tonight......bit of a sham.

Don't have BBC 3 for Leeds/Reading but yes, that E4/CH coverage of V was awful. RTE are broadcasting EP on the Saturday/Sunday. Will be interesting to see what sort of job they will do? Probably will arse it up completely as it's RTE.

I wanted to stab Dave Berry in the face last weekend. Just awful.

The only thing RTE do well is sports punditry so I think they should approach their coverage of the festival like that and they should cut back to the studio between bands to discuss them. They'll need a grumpy, cantankerous misanthrope to play the Dunphy/Hook role, I nominate Jules.

BBC3 and 4 are free to air, which means is all you need is a statilite dish, no need for decorder. Also available on NTL digital package which only costs about €10 extra a month, as long as you don't add SKY sports or film options.
