I was there didnt realy rate the album but f**k me they were good live !! Jack White realy earns his cash MY BABY SHOT ME DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN , one of the best gigs iv been too in months maybe its cus i wasent expecting much but i realy enjoyed it

Echo the sentiments of Pol, absolutely fantastic gig. Jack White is sublime on stage, magnificent guitar playing and great singing. I love Brendan Benson anyway so it was great to see him again and loved his solo songs. Best gig in ages and ages, hopefully they'll be back soon. They looked like they enjoyed themselves too and Jape's "Floating" was a nice surprise. They really rocked out and the songs from the album sounded 10 times better live. They were in Whelans the night before the gig and thanked the staff for looking after them.

Brendan Benson is a Jape fan. I remember reading some "what I'm listening to now" thing in a magazine about a year ago and he was raving about the last album, called it drone-folk as I recall.

Yeah, thought they were great too. Seemed like Jack White was holding back for first half or so, as though not to overshadow his bandmates maybe. Once he let's rip though he's some performer. Thought Benson was great too, bit more of an everyman character than White's rock god. Was thrilled to see a band of this stature cover a Dublin indie act.

great, great show - they really rawk. i really liked the album but last night was way punchier, sharper and meatier. loud as f**k too

The Raconteurs gig was amazing! I would rate it as one of the best I've seen. It was definitely up there with Interpol last year at Oxegen for me. I didn't know what to expect but this band pisses musically all over other bands live!
