Id say sometime around 11. Can't really see any of the acts playing over 2 hours - although I suppose it depends on the usual delays. Also, the lat buses leave from Burgh Quay @ 7pm if that's your mode of transport on the day.

Heading to Radiohead and Daft Punk. Plan to head early in the afternoon. Traffic is horrendous out by the park.

Was at the Chemical Brothers there last year. Getting back was a disaster. There was about 2-3 thousand people looking to get onto 2 double decker buses. Hope it's better this time around.

Walked all the way back into town a few years ago after the Frames/Supergrass gig. Was also stopped actually along with two of my friends by the guards on the way back, who took our details and refused to believe we had jobs because our addresses happened to be on the northside. s**t night...

If you're getting the bus home, its a good idea to move to the back & watch the encore from there. Gives you a headstart on the masses.

It was refusing to give my name in the first place that started all the hassle. They told us they could just bring us down to the station and take our names their. Threatened to charge us with drunk and disorderly even though we were all sober and hadnt had a drink in over 5 hours at that stage. Just a group of guards on a saturday night p1ssed off that theyre a group of guards on a saturday night.

Oh yeah, and the best bit was when my friend told them he was an accountant and one guard tried to argue that he was lying on the basis of his address. My friend is from Whitehall and supposedly people from "that area" dont have respectable jobs. Hilarious!! Bleedin muck-savage...

I do like that sketch they do on the Last Word (PG and DG I think they're called)...nearly found myself laughing out loud on the Luas once or twice.

Anyone know what the story about car parking is? I went to a gig there a couple of years ago and there was parking but I want to confirm that it'll be there again. Coming up from the country so won't be around to get one of the buses from town.

There was last year. Drive in, & the aul stewards direct you into a side field. I love this note on the mcd () site .... Special Needs Carparking This is located in the College Rd carpark - please be aware this is quite a long walk.
