Not good news anyway. Cracking gig in Vicar Street last year and a couple of really good albums.

I'm kind of glad to hear this tbh. I was a huge =w= fan in the blue/pinkerton days, but everything since has been progressively worse.

I am sad to hear that Weezer have spilt, put like other posters on here, it seems to me that they have been treding water for a while. There first album is one that I always give a spin to at least once a month, but I have been underawed with the last few efforts, Maldroit did't do that much for me, and I found Make Believe , rather boring. If I'm being completely honest

I thought the Green album was pretty alright too but like everyone else here, i think they kind of became a bit of a parody of themselves towards the end. The gig last year in Vicar St though it has to be said, would definatly be in my top 10 of all time and the Blue album would be in the running for my fave debut ever. Course if you look to the right of the main article, the last article written about them is titled "Weezer work on new songs" and is from January so you cant believe everything sh1t publications like NME say. Nowt on the weezer homepage bout the split either.
