I know that he's playing guitar on the new album but I was talking to a friend the other night who's just back from the states and he swore blind that Marr is now a full time member of the band.

It's on wikipedia but there's no citation. I would be a very happy man if this was true

You never know what Modest Mouse are going to do next. Marr is co-producing the new record as far as I know and has been out in Portland for a good while now. In fact, he's become pretty recognisable out there and has agreed to produce and engineer demo's for a few local bands.
