after hearing 'steady as she goes', i kinda knew what to expect so wasn't massively let down by the album
it certainly has it's moments but overall it's a bit underwhelming
was hoping for something a bit more challenging and exciting considering white and benson are the main players
maybe the album's a grower though...?
certainly on first listen it did very little for me |

Wasn't disappointed with the album but wasn't hugely impressed either. Only really listened to it a couple of times in the first week I got it.
Off to Pearl Jam & Radiohead that week so may give it a miss

From the stuff I've heard it's quite a turgid affair. Never been a fan of Jack White/White Stripes but love B Benson's 'Lapalco' album.

It's just a solid unpretentious rock album. Quality stuff, not earth shattering or nowt. Should be fun live. My least fave tracks sound like Benson's work.
